Our Camper
Bert is our first Mazda Bongo, he was born and raised in Japan and moved to the UK in August 2008. Once here Bert was treated to a full interior refit using the highest quality materials and fittings.
The Driving
Mazda Bongos are great fun to drive. With as much character as an old 70’s campervan but with all the mod-cons of a modern day fully loaded camper. With disk brakes all around, a powerful 2.5ltr turbo diesel engine, airbags, power steering, air-con and everything else you’d expect from a modern vehicle.
Small enough to maneuver around twisty Cornish country lanes, yet large enough for a family of four, Bongos are equally ideal for pitching at festivals and great at cruising down motorways.
The Interior
At the touch of a button you can raise the automatic elevating roof, giving you standing space during the day and an additional sleeping for two at bedtime. Subtly tinted windows and electric blinds give you the privacy you require and the iPod compatible stereo, 12v / 240v plug sockets allows you to keep your entertainment charged!
The sofa converts in seconds to sleep 2 and the fold out table seats 4.
Bert boasts an individually designed kitchenette with twin gas hob, sink and 12v and 240v fridge. This means that you can be parked at a festival for 4 days without having to worry about running out of power or your beers getting warm! With plenty of cupboard space for food and equipment Bert makes the perfect camping companion.
